SDRC has an open policy regarding team representation. If you want to take part great but it is up to you to contact the relevant team manager.
For qualifiers (BRC Area 20) and BRC Championships there are eligibility rules which are laid down in the BRC rule book. BRC strictly applies a flu vaccination policy, so if you are thinking of taking part you need to be aware of these. Please note that every year horses are turned away from competitions because of non complying vaccination records, so make sure yours is up to date!
SDRC enters teams and individuals within all disciplines in area qualifier competitions. Recently the club has been fairly successful, often being placed and regularly sending teams to the national championships. Please note that if you qualify at an area competition you are expected to attend the championships. Whilst financial support has been provided for members invited to take part in championships in the , circumstances have dictated the the level of support has been limited as from 2024 full detailsSDRC Chair’s Update September 2023
Please note that if you want to take part in a team it is better not to wait until the last minute to put your entry forward .Likewise it isn’t fair on either the team or the Chef d’Equipe to pull out at the last minute.
PLEASE HAVE YOUR MEMBERSHIP CARDS AT THE QUALIFYING EVENTS AS YOU NEED THEM TO COMPETE.
PAYMENT IN FULL BEFORE THE EVENT WILL GUARANTEE ENTRY BUT NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN UNLESS A REPLACEMENT CAN BE FOUND.
THERE WILL BE A DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES SO IF YOU ARE INTERESTED GET IN TOUCH EARLY. TEAM LEADERS WILL INFORM YOU WHEN THEIR PARTICULAR DEADLINE IS
