WELCOME TO Shrewsbury & District Riding Club
Our riding club aims to cater for all levels of ability of both horse and rider, accepting members from the age of 16 and upwards. We run weekly clinics for showjumping and dressage at Berriewood as well as occasional clinics and activities at other venues. Members are encouraged to come forward to the committee with ideas, and if approved will run. Such events have included a summer camp, a hunter trials competition, combined training, a film night, dressage to music, whisky tasting and a Halloween murder mystery.
We try to hold club competitions each month, alternating SJ and dressage. At the most competitive level we encourage members to represent the club at BRC Area 20 qualifiers and over the years have been fairly successful, usually being able to send a team or individuals to the national championships in a range of disciplines.
