Rallies –Important
Recently and all too frequently members are booking in for rallies and not turning up!!
This has a number of consequences:
The program for the evening gets messed up
In order to provide value for members rallies are non-profit making, therefore any non attendance unless it is paid for places a financial burden on the club.
As rallies are often well subscribed by non attendance you may have prevented another rider from taking part.
Organisers spend a considerable amount of their own time trying to set up rallies and accommodate riders wishes and feel unfairly treated when people just don't turn up.
All organisers are only a phone call or email away. A 48 hr prior notice deadline is not unreasonable as this gives us time to organise the evenings schedule and contact those involved in the rally.
The long established rule is give 48 hrs notice or pay up!
Flatwork Rallies PLACES AVAILABLE
If you are interested in taking part in flatwork rallies there are places available on both Tuesday and Wednesday evenings Contact either Emma or Jill to book your place. These take place from about 6 p.m. onwards and at present cost £16. This is for a shared lesson either 2 riders for 30 mins or 3 riders for 45 mins. We try to arrange times to suit the individual as best as we can.
Flatwork /Dressage ( Monday Tuesday and Wednesday)
Regular clinics are held at Walford on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, usually starting at 6.00p.m. Sessions are fortnightly, alternating with show jumping (see calendar ) .
Chris has proved to be a popular and competent trainer and consequently training sessions are well subscribed although usually organisers find it possible to fit members in (though it is not always possible). Debbie Leeks rallies are held at Stoneyford Indoor Arena, Annscroft, on Sundays according to demand . For dates and availability contact Libby.
Individual lessons are £25 for half an hour to include the school hire.
